Kerry Clark retired as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), a Fortune 20 company, on September 1, 2009. He is currently a Director of Textron (NYSE: TXT), General Mills (NYSE: GIS), Anthem (NYSE: ANTM), The Christ Hospital (Cincinnati) and Hauser Capital Partners.

Mr. Clark joined Cardinal Health in April 2006. Under his leadership, the company expanded its market presence through the acquisition of medical technology leaders in respiratory care and neurophysiology (VIASYS), infection prevention (Enturia) and data mining surveillance (MedMined). In addition, Mr.Clark recruited and retained an experienced healthcare executive team that made significant improvements in enterprise capability and culture. To further increase management and strategic focus, Cardinal Health’s clinical and medical products business was spun off as a publicly traded company called CareFusion (NYSE: CFN), on August 31, 2009.

Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Mr. Clark was Vice Chairman of the board at the Procter and Gamble Company (NYSE: PG). During his 32-year career with P&G, Mr. Clark had considerable strategic,operational and corporate management responsibilities for several businesses, including laundry and cleaning product, family health and global operations. During his tenure he held leadership positions in North America and Asia.

A native of Ottawa, Canada, Mr. Clark graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
