Mark Hauser is a founder and Managing Partner of Hauser Private Equity, LLC (HPE), and its affiliates, which provide investment management to private equity funds across diverse industries within the lower middle and middle markets. Mark has 30 years experience in private equity investing, merchant banking, and insurance.
Hauser is Chairman of the Board of Hauser Capital Markets, where he oversees the direct investment strategy of its capital partners including: structured-control buyouts, minority equity, mezzanine debt, or vertical (side-by-side) investing. He is also a Managing Partner of Hauser Davis Tysoe LLC, which allocates its capital into private equity funds and co-investments in retail, consumer, and media.
Hauser began his career with Reynolds Dewitt Securities. As Vice President, he provided expansion stage capital, management expertise, and operational assistance to 15 companies resulting in the public offerings of Mid-American Waste Systems, Future Healthcare, Future Now and Health Images.
Currently, Mr. Hauser serves on the Board of Directors of AdSpace Networks, the Cincinnati Sports Mall, and The O’Gara Group.
In addition to his private equity interests, Hauser serves as the Chairman of the Board of HAUSER, an M&A consulting firm that focuses on corporate risk management and human capital management with offices in Cincinnati, Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Kansas City, and New York City. Mark took a local insurance agency and built a national brokerage firm servicing both domestic and international clients.
Mark is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Margie, and their four children. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.Back To Team
